Lab & Presentation Activities
ATTENTION: This block is radically different from the previous blocks. You will be given the opportunity to explore a contemporary aspect of chemistry.
First you will explore some of the modern advances in the study of chemistry. Next you will decide on a topic you wish to investigate further.
After that investigation you will decide on the type of presentation or project you want to use. Finally, you will present your work to your appointment teacher.
Your Assignment:
1. Watch EACH of the following videos.
2. Take notes on each of the videos.
3. Select ONE of the topics represented by the videos OR determine your own topic
4. Decide on one form of presentation you want to do on the video topic you choose.
- Some form of experimental project.
- A typical research paper.
- Common Presentation (i.e. PowerPoint, Prezi, Video, etc.)
- Original art project (i.e. painting, song, painting, etc.)
6. Schedule your research and work such that the Lab Dates indicated in BLOCK 17 will be efficiently used.
7. You will do the final presentation of your work for your appointment teacher as the requirement for Block 18.

Video 3: Artificial Intelligence
Learning Check
This block does not have a Learning Check, but will be included in the assessment of your project/presentation.
