BLOCK 9: Acids, Bases & Salts (cont.)

Introductions: Neutralization if the process by which an acid and base neutralize each other forming water and a salt.

When we measure a neutralization reaction with a technique called titration, we are able to determine the actual concentration of the acid or base if we know the concentration of the other chemical.

During a titration we use an indicator which changes color when the acid and base neutralize one another. By using careful technique we can achieve accurate results using this process.
